About

A first-time author and cancer survivor, Dr. George Beauregard was adopted along with his identical twin brother by a loving couple at the age of eighteen months. A native and life-long resident of Massachusetts, he was awarded his medical degree at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1988. While in medical school and during internship and residency, he and his wife Kathleen welcomed four children into the world: Daniel, Patrick, Kaylin, and Brendan. His internal medicine clinical practice experience spanned nearly 20 years in the greater Boston area. Over the following twenty-plus years, he has held physician executive roles in various markets across the United States, overseeing Accountable Care Organizations, Integrated Delivery Networks, and Clinically Integrated Networks. He has been featured in several podcasts--Crushing Healthcare, Rhode Island Department of Health's Public Health Out Loud, Gastro Girl, The Health Care Blog, and The Value-based Care Podcast. In addition, he has written several blogs and LinkedIn posts related to contemporary issues in healthcare. He has a Substack called The Beauregard Ledger: Reflections on Medicine and Humanity. He enjoys traveling, reading, ice hockey, and all of his grandchildren.
